Finance Manager?
We are looking for a Finance Manager for our ODS Analyser Systems department in Essen (BE), who will be responsible for managing and optimizing our financial processes.
In this role, you will hold a key position within the organization and support management with sharp analyses and reliable information. You will ensure that financial insights are not only accurate and complete, but also contribute to strategic decision-making.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for accounting, control, and the preparation of financial reports. You will coordinate the budgeting process, manage forecasting, and develop multi-year plans aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives. In addition, you will analyze financial results, KPIs, and business cases to identify opportunities and risks in a timely manner.
You will monitor and optimize cash flow and liquidity. You will further develop and improve internal control, governance, and compliance where necessary. Finally, you will act as a strong sparring partner for the executive team and management, translating financial insights into clear advice and concrete actions.
The most successful candidate:
- Completed bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Experience with accounting, business control, and cash management;
- Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills;
- Leadership experience is a plus;
- Knowledge of local Belgian financial legislation and regulations (including VAT and corporate tax).
